High prolactin & large fibroids!

Hello there, just wondering if there is anyone out there who has knowledge of how high prolactin levels may cause fibroids. I think i have found that high prolactin usually goes hand in hand with high estrogen, and high estrogen can cause fibroids. I am 30 and facing needing a hysterectomy due to 4 LARGE fibroids which the docs keep telling me, "some people just grow them" without really ever checking any further. I am on a mission of sorts to learn what I can as this response does not sit well with me and i feel there has to be a root cause. HELP!

prolactin is the bodies natural hormone that prevents fertilization ie is a contraceptive and when prolatin levels fall after lactation you are 3 times more fertile than a person that has never been pregnant;

fibroids are caused by corrupted testosterone ie food etyhls' form esters with bacteria in uric acid and sterates and oliec acids this causes mis- transcription in oestrogen dominated cells this is why doctors perscribe triptorelyn to reduce both oestrogen and testosterone this reduces the fibroids but upsets all the bodies hormones and can be very unpleasent even causing minor fits etc, do not worry though every thing usually turns out ok; but the fibroids will still return slowly until you reach menopause at the approx age of arond 50 usually.  wish you good health  ***@****

I'm glad you're trusting your instincts and not just going with your docs answer to have a hysterectomy.  There are so many procedures/options available now where you can save your uterus.  I can't say if Prolactin levels cause fibroids because like you said, it all goes hand in hand.  Fibroids definitely feed off of higher Estrogen levels.  Your hormones are probably all out of whack and you just need to see a specialist to see what you can do about it.  Some people take birth control to see if that stops the growth so maybe that it something you can ask your doc about.  But definitely get the opinion of another doctor because your doc's answer would be unacceptable to me.

Good luck!
