Home Fertility Testing

I'm 32yrs old next mth, been TTC for about 10mths with no luck, I've used the home ovulation test strips every morning & kept track of when I'm ovulating, but no conception. My doc said to take a home fertility test, has anyone tried this? Does it work? How accurate are these things? Couldn't the doctor do a more definative test than the home fertility test? Please, any info or experiences are helpful, I don't discuss this with any of my friends. Thanks!

I have done a home fertility test n it tested positive for being fertile.....a year later n still TTC. I've done several medicated IUI cycles w/ no success. I've been diagnosed w mild PCOS n unexplained infertility. I'm 34 now and going to try IVF next year.
