How Clomid works?

I started Clomid at 50mg and increased each month. At 150mg I ovulated and my levels were pretty good, but my doctor wanted to see my progesterone level at 10 so she increased my dosage to 200. This round the blood test showed that I did not ovulate. Has anyone experienced this? Just a little discouraged :(

I am on Metformin as well. Did your doctor have any explanation why clomid worked for you once, but not again?

I'm in the same boat. I am on my 5th round of clomid and I only ovulated once. The doctor started me on metformin to increase my progesterone. We are at the point where I don't think clomid works for me and our next steps would be IUI.

very discouraged myself too :(
