How are the Sept./Oct. mommies doing/
So girls I lost our post but I wanted to check in to see how everyone is doing. I have the worst headache tonight. It was my first day back to work and I think I'm just really tired. I'm really not having that many cramps now so I'm a little worried about that. How is everybody else? When does everybody go for their next u/s?

I had my second u/s on wednesday and the baby was the right size and its heart rate was 171! :) At our last u/s the doctor thought the heart rate was a bit low so we were so relieved!

I went for my first u/s today and I saw the little heart beating away. I immediately started crying. It is so amazing.

I feel so nauseated it's not funny. I think I am close to the vomit stage. I was hoping I would be like my sisters and mum that had hardly anything.

I feel a bit better today, but my boobs started leaking!!!!!! *boggle* It's waaaaaaaaayyyy too early to get colostrum, but here I am with two leaky boobs dripping clear sticky fluid... colostrum!
I think I'm going to call my doctor tomorrow and tell him what's up. I don't suppose it's anything to be overly concerned about, but I'm utterly shocked I'm already leaking. Btw, bbs stopped hurting, and I'm not cramping at all for the past few days, but lordy the fatigue and nausea are yucky!
You should get Girlfriend's Guide to Being Pregnant... it's hysterical and everything I'm going through is totally in that book!

I think maybe being at work is better for me as I am thinking of different things and have to keep up the appearence of not being sick. I just am so hungry but when i think if food sometimes....uhrrr. but I still have to eat.
I am happy though so not complaining but just need to get it out. So good to talk to others about it when they are feeling the same.
My U/s is on thursday. I cannot wait!

You took the words right out of my mouth. I feel like ****! Yesterday I was nauseated in the morning, so I took a Zofran, and it knocked me so silly that I could barely keep my eyes open or lift my head. I felt so weak and tired! I spent the entire day and night in bed, and I think I slept like 20 hours. :( I hope this doesn't last long! I can't function!
I can't take Zofran anymore. It's FAB for the nausea, takes it totally away, but it makes me entirely too sleepy and weak. I honestly wondered if I had the flu yesterday because my body was aching so much.
Sorry you're going through the tiredness too... though it's nice to know it isn't just me being nutty!
My uterus doesn't hurt, but my back is killing me. I'm very achy in the pelvis/back area.

oh I feel yukky and have no energy and my baby book says that should start from 7 weeks which I am tomorrow. Really hoping it doesn't get worse as I don't know how to hide it from work.
Also I feel really heavy like my whole uterus is going to fall out when I get up. Does anyone else feel like that?

I actually asked my dorctor about mayo, because it's so difficult to avoid it. So she told me to avoid it if I can, but she said so many people eat mayo and nothing ever happens. So I figured that a little bit on occasion is ok.
As for deli meat on line they say that it might contain bacteria called listeria, same thing with smoked fish like lox.

Hi ladies. I'm 8w3d pregnant today and due in October. Yesterday I ate a turkey sub from Quizznos with..unfortunately a little mayo. Anyhow, I was wondering what is wrong with deli meats. I can understand deli meats that are prepackaged from the supermarket but why not deli meats in general?

Oooh.. so far this drug is working great! I was soooo nauseated at work today, I ran out and quickly got the prescription filled and popped one pill, and I felt SOOO much better about 20 minutes later. I was able to get some lunch down! I hear the pill might make you sleepy, but I'm already sleepy, so it doesn't seem to be any different that usual yet!
The strange thing is that my insurance will only pay for 12 pills at a time. That's odd!

congratulations, i am so happy to hear all is well. i took zofran and it is a wonderful drug! it will give you so much relief!
hugs to science teacher, ashort, and desperado. i had two losses -- one at 13 and one at 12 weeks it is just a really hard thing to go through the emotional ups and downs are exhausting! i wish you healing and BFP's soon!

I'll keep in mind this medication. Looks like my nausea returned today and its very unpleasant especially when I'm at work. For now I have a lemon in front of me and I keep smelling it.

Congratulations Sheri! You must be so relieved. How exciting! Good luck with the nausea and the zofran. I have not taken it but I hear it works wonderfully. At 14 weeks my nausea is almost gone! It can be all consuming. Can't wait to hear your updates.

I have taken Zofran in the past for a stomach virus, and, in fact, asked for a script for it today b/c my nausea reached critical mass! My sister took it throughout her pregnancy with my 1 1/2 year-old nephew. It works!

Well, I'm back, and I have good news!
Not only did we see a sac today, in the uterus, but we saw the embryo sitting on the yolk sac and a tiny itty bitty heart beat pitter pattering away!!!!
I'm so relieved! And... the doctor gave me medication to get rid of my nausea. It's called Zofran. Anyone ever take that?

I have my u/s today in about an hour, and I'm so nervous! Didn't see a discernable sac last week so I'm hoping we'll see one today, and in the proper place!

I've got a lot of sharp pains in my tummy and right around my belly button today, and some bowel trouble too. I suppose some of it could be nerves, but it honestly feels like a touch of the stomach flu! Meh.
Wish me luck, girls. Hopefully I'll come back around lunchtime with some good news!
