I've been having problems with my period because every month it was getting lighter and lighter til I only get my "light" period for 1 day. So I asked my gyn and started looking online about this and come to find out, clomid thins out your uterus. Doesn't that defeat the purpose because doesn't our body have to have a thick enough lining for the baby to stick? I am so confused..........I'm on my 3rd cycle of a 100mg clomid from CD4-9 and I was wondering if I should even continue taking clomid in the future.
IN MY OPINION I WOULD CONTINUE THE CLOMID. YOUR ON YOUR LAST CYCLE AND I WOULD GIVE IT A SHOT. MY DOCTOR TOLD ME SHE WOULDNT KEEP ME ON CLOMID AFTER 3 MONTHS. IM ACTUALLY ON MY FIRST CYCLE OF CLOMID 100MG CD4-9 ALSO. TODAY IS CD8. I WISH YOU THE BEST.
I honestly would have to disagree with Chicky30. I was on 7 IUI cycles with clomid. It thinned my lining to the point where I only had my period for one day. My lining was only measuring at 4..it needs to be at least 9 for an egg to implant.
This cycle we did straight follistim and no clomid and I'm finally pregnant. This time with the follistim it was a 10.5.
will help thicken my uterus so that a baby will finally stick during implantation. The only thing I worry is if its takes a while before our uterus lining is able to thickened up again. To nevaeh22, do you mind me asking what follistim is? Is that like another form of clomid?
