How do you check for CM?

I just spoke to the nurse at my dr's office who told me I should be checking for CM internally (I'd been doing so based on what I saw on my underwear only, but she says many women don't produce enough to be seen externally). I know this question is a little personal but how do you check for your CM? Insert two fingers and pull down whatever you can get? I can't seem to tell much from this. Any advice would be helpful.

Hey :) You've got it right. That's how I do it if I have no noticeable CM. Just put your fingers up near your cervix, if you have any CM, it'll get on your fingers :)
