How effective is Clomid?

My husband and I have been TTC for a year no with no luck. We had his sperm tested & it was good. I use to have regular normal periods, but about 3 months ago i stopped getting my period at all. I went to the doctor and all my tests came back normal. I'm just not ovulating regularly. So she prescribed me Clomid. I was wondering how successful this pill was for anyone? & how long it took before you got pregnant?

Good luck. I re-acted badly to it with my lining but it made me ovulate the first month:) i have got moved onto something else. But my friend and lots and lots of other people do well on it. Some took a month and other up to five:) good luck i'm sure it will work. Its good to get you ovulating
