How long does it take you HCG to lower?

I was at 20 on friday when I had the miscarriage.
I bled for only three days, also wondering why I am having really, really bad panic attacks after. is this caused by hormone shifting and the loss? does anyone else get dizzy, feel sick, shortness of breathe and shakey? I have an ob gyn appointment on thursday but I keep feeling odd, this started monday when I went to the er and everything seems to trigger panic attacks. especially talking about the loss. Should I go on xanax??

also anyone else feel tired after a panic attack and kinda twitchy?

again what could cause this?
and again I am going to the ob gyn on thursday.

if I had something wrong with me the er would have picked that up right? I feel like after the miscarriage something may go wrong with me. is this a normal thought?

I am not ready to TTC so I am going on the pill for now. It would be too much to lose another so soon!

I I had to reschedual the appointment due to Financial issues so cant go until monday after this since i dont have insurance.
I am still having horrible panic attacks and think I am dying from a new problem everyday but it seems to die down after awhile.
My bleeding has also stopped completely at 5 days, they say anywhere from a few days to 1 week is normal, Havent lost alot of blood either it was like a normal period only with clots the first 2 days. Most past the first day...mind you I was only 3 weeks almost 4 weeks along when I lost it so they say in most cases a natural mis is complete especially in early pregnancy. I am keeping an eye on things however..other than the panic attacks and not really wanting to eat..I feel fine.
No fever, cramps or anything abnormal..I do have Trich though and have meds but I am waiting for my boyfriend to get his meds and take it together so apart from the smell from that I seem to be doing fine.
If I feel funny I will go into the er.

i hope your OB says everything is okay too....just remember to stay calm and let yourself heal. grief can cause you to panic, so remember that and try not to look into it more than you should. and work with your dr to try to get the panic attacks under control before you TTC again; xanax is a big no-no for most doctors when a woman is pregnant, so maybe relaxation techniques, or another, approved medication is something you can do while TTC if you choose to try again. please keep me updated, but I think you're fine you're just really hurting in your heart. prayers for you.

My sister is trying to calm me down. Her ob gyn says that at 4 weeks there isnt much in there. I had good ammount of clotted blood the first and second day and I am still bleeding just not as much and I don't have cramps anymore, that stopped sunday. I was told you bleed for 1 week or a few days. thanks for the reply. I hope the ob gyn says everything is ok!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

everything you're THINKING is normal. panic, fear, loss, all normal. If you're truly concerned, go back to the ER. tell them that you feel like something is wrong, and that you just had a m/c. maybe there's an underlying health problem that caused the m/c that they haven't caught yet. You should be fine, though, so don't REALLY panic, just don't be afraid because you ARE panicking; it's normal :). I remember being an emotional wreck after my m/c.....just give yourself time to grieve and allow yourself to feel whatever emotions your body needs. If it's interfering with your life, xanax (in my experience) is a good short-term aid to deal with panic attacks, but your doctor can help you decide....if you feel overwhelmed and cannot calm your terror, go back to the er or call your dr and let them know. It's normal to feel a lot of very strong emotions, but if you're truly feeling out of control, they can help you.
but yes, HCG levels drop very quickly after m/c and can cause a lot of bad feelings, including fatigue, exhaustion, anxiety, shakiness, dizziness, etc. but honestly your doctor is the only one who can be sure you don't need further care such as a DnC (since you bled for such a short amount of time, there may be tissue that's not passing that could be causing your fatigue/shakiness.)
it's really impossible to tell over the 'net, your doctor will know.
you're probably fine, though, so take a deep breath and let yourself heal....my prayers go with you through this tough time.
