How long does it take?

Here is my story. My wife and I got pregnant when we were in college. We both regret it, but we got an abortion. We got pregnant again a year ago and she miscarried.  I recently got my hormones tested and my testosterone was low like 374 or something like that. My lh was a little low and my fsh was almost mid range. The endo told me fsh is responsible for sperm production and since I have gotten my wife pregnant twice it is unlikely a problem. He told me to try for about a year first. He also told me my testosterone is "normal" because my free or bioavailable level is fine and is over 2%. My prolactin was a little out of range so I am taking bromocriptine to bring it down he also said my testosterone will go up taking it.  Anyway we started trying two months ago. We found out we started after she ovulated so I guess technically it has been a month. Everyday we had intercourse and today she got her period. God it feels like a failure. I want to know how long does it usually take a year seems to long to wait. We got pregnant twice with out trying to and now what is happening?

Well, it varies a lot from person to person, but they say it can take a normal healthy couple up to a year to conceive. But hopefully it happens earlier than that for you guys. Best of luck!

I to got pregnant 2 time with out even trying. But now I found out that I have PCOS. So it can take awhile even if you got pregnant easy before.

I have a 4 year old and the pregnancy last year ended in miscarriage.
