How many days after an IUI did you take an HPT? What's too early?

I recently had IUI done.  We did days 3-7 of clomid, then took an hCG shot (low dose) to force ovulation (no guesswork on the timing) and then went in for the IUI on the sunday.... since then I've been taking nothing, just waiting.... well, except my prenatal vits.  How many days after IUI have you tested? What's the earliest you've tested and got a true positive both with an HPT, not beta/bloodwork.

Usually I test 15 days after IUI.. I did twice on IUI and not sucessful...

On our first IUI they told us that the HCG shot may not leave your system for 7-10 days so you could get a false positive. They also told us to wait 2 weeks and 2 days to be sure. The waiting was awful! Good luck!

Hey I did an injectable cycle this month - and triggered with Ovidril on 12/3 IUI was on 12/4 - I tested at 9dpiui and today which is 10dpiui and both were faint positives - My drs office moved my test date to Wednesday instead of Friday - they told me that the ovidril was out of my system at about 5-7 days from the day I took it.

I did 4 tries at IUI with clomid 00mg on CD 3-10 and all were unsuccessful.

well, I did a test today, just to simply find out if the hCG was still in my system and it's totally not.  got a VERY clear negative.  So when I do take another test later this week, we should have the real truth. Then the bloodtest on friday.

I am waiting for AF so I can start Clomid days 3-7 and then do the HCG Ovidrel as well.  That wait must be so hard.  Good luck to everyone! Let this be the time for all of us :)

Hey, so my bloodwork came back today as negative, but at least I was ready for it from that neg HPT.  I guess I'll be getting a red wrapped gift for Christmas. lol Do you think I can return to sender???  See you when the next tww starts in the new year.
