How many days post tranfer can i start testing

Just wanted to know to save myself the grief this month of testing too early, how many days after 5 day embryo transfer i am 2dpt at the moment.

10 dpt. But they do say not to test at all and wait for your Beta since you can get false negatives and false positives do to the HCG shot and timing being to early for most hpt's.

lol im only 2dpt and i have tested, there is no way i would last to 10dpt!

I waited until the evening before my beta which was 9dpt but I didn't have the hcg trigger shot either (did donor eggs).  I was so afraid of seeing a BFN that I waited until the last minute - hope you get your BFP!!

For my first IVF cycle, I tested a couple of days before my beta and it was a BFP, but any earlier and it probably would have been negative because my HCG level after my first beta was 60 so if it doubles every other day, when I tested it would have been only 30 four days before beta, 15 six days before beta and 7 8 days before beta. If you are going to test, use a FRED test as they have the lowest detection levels for HCG. I used a digital Clear Blue Easy and I think they only detect at 25 or something like that.

Hello!

I am new to all of this. I had my transfer on the Dec. 19th and I tested positive with a hpt on day 10. I still have 4 more days until my blood is tested. I am currently taking projesterone injections and Estradiol tablets which I do not think have no bearing on the results. I am not sure what to think at this point. This is the first time i have tested positive in 8yrs! I am so scared to get just a little excited. The waiting period is really stressing me out.
