My first 50 mg Clomid cycle resulted in 5 mature follicles. My RE said that I responded very well on Clomid and that he usually sees this result on injectibles...not clomid. So, 5 was really good! Hopefully the iui worked. Have a couple of more days before I find out.
i'm sorry this has nothign to do with your question. but i remember you did an IUI . at first , i didnt know what that was and i researched it . and then i read a post that you said your taking pills for something. since i dont know the name of these pills i am just curious cause i wanna know if the IUI procedure might have you pregnant now? i am just curious because for soem odd reason , this website gets you to follow up peoples stories and actually care about them. i wanna wish you lots of luck . all the baby dust to you. keep me informed.

For me on both clomid cycle i had only one mature follicle...and 2, 13-15mm sized one...and both times from differnt ovaries..Its good to have many mature follicles, even though the chance of getting twins increases, but my doc says a mature ovulation still doesnt mean a viable egg is thr inside...so i guess having two -three matured follies increase the probability of getting atleast one egg...thats my understanding, not sure whether iam correct...but i would like to see more matured follicles bfr ovulation...
I've been monitored on two cycles and have only had 1 mature follicle each time.... I had some others that were around 13-15 mm, but the doctor didn't think they would quite make it. On the second cycle, I managed to get pg with my one follicle, so it can happen :)

I had only 2, one really good one size of 24 mm and one smaller one, she didn't say the size, but I think normally you get a lot more than that.
