Hyster SOMETHING scope?????

Good morning ladies ;D  So this am I am going to my RE's to do some hyster- something or another?!?!?!?
It's were he puts saline water in my uterus & it fills up then he does a vag. US & checks out my uterus for adhesions, polyps & fibroids.  I'm pretty certain nothing will be found since I just had the HSG & it looked fine there, but this RE says that HSG's miss up to 20% of uterun abnormalities.  So we'll see.........

Have any of you guys had this done before????

Hmmm I had a hysteroscopy where they look inside your uterus with a little camera, but I dont think its the same thing because I was knocked out for the procedure.  

Is it maybe a sonohysterography? Very cook that your RE is being so thorough!

I had that same thing done last week and i dont remember the name either lol but it is a lot like the HSG I did not experience any pain at all just a little uncomfortable and it is over within like 3-4 mins . I dont want to worry but i did the HSG and it was text book perfect as my doctor put it and then when they did this procedure they found a small fibroid or polyp . So it is a good idea to get it done just to have everything looked at . GOOD LUCK !!!

yes i had a hysteroscopy. after my D&E. to make sure all was clean and shiny. it's gross because the water all falls out into a bag beneath you. buy you'll be relieved to rule things out.

I'm back..........AGAIN!  LOL  I feel like I'm a human "testing" rat! LOL
It was no big deal at all!  I took Tylenol, then had to wait 2 hours & the front desk girls said to take Ibprofen so I did, DID NOT need either.  Quick & easy & yes the gross WEIRD part was all the water/solution running down my lower back  LOL
EVERYTHING is 110% PERFECT!  I have been LOOKING for reason....but so far, can't find any!
SoI will be O tomorrow Thursday, or Friday.  I asked him to look at my lil ovary, since I KNEW something was going on LOL  I can feel it.  He did & today is CD10 & I did CCCT CD5-9 so I SHOULD NOT be close to O, BUT I have a few follies growing, & one fat one @ 22mm.   Iknew I was close, even w/little cm, I can just feel my insides...kinda creepy ;)

So I SHOULD get the ovirdel (spelling) tomorrow & trigger then they said to ha TI Fiday & Saturday.  NOPE, I think I will O on my own by tomorrow night so were gonna BD tonight, tomorrow & Friday.  EVEN if I trigger last 2x's I did the trigger I O'd around 24 hours after the shot.  SO my body just likes to O quickly! LOL

So the GOOD news is that I have no none issues, bad news is I'm 40 & I'm sure my quality (hard to admit!) is not that great????  IDK, I did my cd10 FSH & E@ so I probably will get thoe numbers back Monday afternoon.  PRAYING that my FSH did NOT shoot up!  
Since I always O on my own always have & respond quickly & easily to meds, do you ladies THINK my FSH will get much higher?  This is all still so new to me!

That's great you got a good report! I read on here all the time after a HSG- --so many seem to get preggo! I hope this is your month!

I think it is a Hystrosalpingagram...I had too over and done before you know it or was it the Hystrosonogram...I have not had that one yet...

It was actually a sonohysterogram, rhey open your cervix a bit & inject a sterile water in & then use a vag. US to get a close look in the uterus.  They can see it very clearly, & it took MAYBE 2 minutes start to finish!

are they able to see if the fallopian tubes are open that way also??? i asked my RE about checking that and he said that it might not be a bad ideal.

Actually the US picture they gave me, yes I could see clearly my tube running into my uterus.  But I think your DR is probably gonna suggest doing an HSG, thats a bit more involved & they Xray/put dye into your uterus & it spills into your tubes to make sure they are open.
I just had that done this week to & it was no biggy!
