Hysteroscopy..Do I really need it at this time? please help.

hi, there..it's me again.. ladies I need your help and your opinion. I had 3 ivfs and got pregnant 2x but both miscarried. After 8.5 years of waiting, still waiting and to tell you all honestly I am soo tired of this.. now my re did some testings. I have not gotten the results of the blood work, but the sonogram I knew the result. My re just told me that I need another hysteroscopy to remove the fibroids on the cavity of my uterus. I am just ok, and schedule it.

Now my question is, I don;t have anymore fertility coverage ( IUI or IVF), so I cannot afford to have ivf.. and I know that it is so impossible to get pregnant naturally (im 35). Any insight or any inspirational story that you can share with  me.  Is the surgery really needed for me to concieve naturally or this is done only if you are going thru ivf?

thank you in advance for your help...

Thank you Ziza.. i really hope soo..

I keep hoping and praying that someday my dh and I get a chance to hold our baby in our arms.. I know that my dh really wants to have a baby, even he doesnt tell me, I know that he is hurting inside.. he just does not show it to me.. sometimes I get soo depressed and soo sad.. I wish I can go home and hold my mom and my sisters so I can get comforted.. you know.. but they are  thousands of miles away...they are in the PI.

Thank you so much again...

Definitely have the surgery, it will help your chances of conceiving naturally.  If you look up info on fibroids and infertility, you will find enough reason to do the surgery.  Good luck, I hope you have that baby you've been waiting so long for!

yes, my re said that could be that factor why I had my m/cs.. because the fibroids take the blood supply that suppose to go to the baby...so they have to remove it.. I had it done also on 5/2006 , the fibroid located on the cavity of my uterus, it was blocking.. now unfortunately seems like it is building up again.

thank you for your time to answer my post... The thing though.. I am not going through anymore ivfs nor iui, my body is just soo tired of the meds.. I probably just going to try naturally or if it happens, then good but if not I guess I cannot blame myself for not trying because we did what we could of done.. right?...

GOODLUCK to you and to all TTCs

I Love you all!!!!

I do not have fibroids, but I know two people that have done ivf and have fibroids. One of them they had the fibroids removed, the other one did not.  For the one that did not, her Dr told her that the location of the fibroids on her uterus would not interfere with getting pregnant.  Neither of them have gotten pregnant naturally, but they have other issues that prevent natural conception.  Did your Dr say that the location of yours would inhibit implantation or fetal growth?
