I have a swollen ovary 5 days after O- on clomid

Hi Everyone,

I'm on clomid for the first time 50 mg on days 3-7. I normally have long cycles 37-40 days. I O'd on CD 23 and it's now CD 27. I'm having massive pains and swelling of my right ovary. Has anyone else had this happen with clomid after you o? I called my doc this morning and he said this is normal and if the pain gets worse to go to the ER. I NEED to know if anyone else has had this happen. I'm so hoping I'm pregnant, but it's to early to test. Please help anyone!

HI Sarah - I am on clomid and take the same dose as you on the same days. I had really bad cramps and almost like a stinging last month after O right up til AF. I have no idea what caused it and am hoping I don't get it again this month. My specialist didn't give me any clues either. Sorry I can't be more helpful. I hope you get the BFP you want. Good luck.
