Hi everybody, I just came back from the hospital and I had 13 eggs retrieved. That is my third ivf. I had two ivf in May and June - failed (each time I had only 3-4 eggs retrieved). If everything will go well with the fertilization, I will have a transfer on Sunday. Please keep your fingers
Hi, a lot will depend on the quality of eggs. Your RE is the best person to advise as he knows your medical history. You don't wnat to be in my situation. I had 4 eggs transferred and now I am pregnant with triplets and have to undergo reduction. I am 39
Hi I am 38 in december and I retireved 10 eggs fertilized 9 and transferred 2, froze the rest- we asked to transfer 3 but I am not old enough, which is a compliment in itself, so I had 2 perfect embryos
transferred, I get my bt on the 14th and results on the 16th, please keep me in your prayers, you will be in mine, everyone will be that is waiting to hear if they will be blessed with the most awesome gift in the world!! GODD LUCK TO ALL!!!!
I will have a transfer tomorrow (10/11). From 13 eggs - 12 were matured and 11 fertilized. I will find out how many are good for the transfer. But I am hoping for 5-6. What do you think? Some girls do like 2 to 4. Last time I had 3 transferred and nothing happened so this time (if it will be possible) I am thinking to transfer more.
hi dorti! good luck tomorrow!!! if the embys will have high number of cells, 10 and up, they will probably not transfer more then 3, but maybe every clinic have dif standards. ask about the number of cells..it's good to know. i pray for happy results. keep in touch...best of luck to you!!
Hi, i am back from the hospital, I had 7 good grade B embryos.they recommended to transfer 3, so I did. I friezed 4. Now I am waiting, resting and praying.
Congrats on the outstanding ER. I would love to know more about your insurance. Ours does not cover much for IVF and we have bluecross blueshield as well. I am trying to get our company to increase the coverage on IVF and I am trying to gather information on it.
Hi, thank you for your respond. My insurance is covering everything up to 4 full ivf per life time , I think it is because I have HMO. If I would choose PPO then they would cover only about 80% of all costs. With HMO you are forced to choose their doctors but I am OK with that.Good luck to you!
Congrats on your ER and ET. Baby dust your way. Your numbers greatly improved. Did your dr change anything this cycle. I've had 2 ivf cycles cancelled due to low follicle numbers <5 each time. I was just wondering if you had done anything different.
Hi Danielle, yes my doctor tried a little different treatment this time. I was taking birth control pills for three weeks to shut ovaries and then i was injecting lupron 20 iu and then follistim 150 iu and menopur 150 iu. Contact me if you will need details.Good luck!
