I took misoprostol at 6 six weeks of my pregnacy.
I took 8 pills of misoprostol two weeks ago , i did bleed like a period and i felt clots come out. Today the Dr did a sonogram and saw the baby with a heart beat. How long will the pills take effect?
They are probably no longer in your system but can cause complications with your pregnancy and fetus. You need to talk to the doctor about your situation and what it is that you want.

Tell the doctor that you took the pills and when. He can advise you as to what impact they might have had on the baby (in terms of possible damage) and how long it stays in your system (I would assume it is gone now).
