IT'S ... TWINS!!!!!

2 Sacs, 2 heartbeats!!  O. M. G. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  

I knew we were at a slight risk for multiples b/c we got pregnant with 3-4 follicles and IUI (with only 8 million sperm!) I am a little nervous about the risk associated with twins, though.  I tend to deliver preemies anyway with my past singleton births.  

I can't believe I have not been starving or anything, and no morning sickness, either.  No pregnancy symptoms at all.  However I thought it was a little strange that I couldn't button my pants this morning, I'm only 6 weeks pregnant.   LOL  I am probably going to get HUGE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  

The dr. says that seeing both beating hearts is a great indicator that things are going just as they should be, perfectly normal and right on track.  And the risk of miscarriage goes down significantly (from 20% to 5%) now that heartbeats are detected.

These will be my dh's only children.  He's still in shock i think.

YAY!!!  I'm so happy for you!!!!  Yes, the risk goes down to 5% and then once you get movement it drops to 2%.  Very exciting!  Take care and CONGRATS!!!!

Wow!1 a double whammy?? Tell your DH to get all the rest he can. What if it is 2 girls?? wouldn't that be something. That is great they were able to see everything at 6 wks. This is a great sign. Happy nine months. :))
