IUI, and confused someone please answer

hello everyone I have a ? about ovulation. I had my HCG trigger on monday night, and IUI on wednesday AM  I had some ewcm wednesday afterrnoon, nothing to spectacular, now today its more sticky, not creamy and not stretchable does this mean I ovulated>?? also, I had the IUI done at 9 am, and did not get the EWCM till after 5 pm how long does the sperm live after the washing with IUI.. for some reason I thought it was only a few hours, any help would be welcomed.. thank you all so much for your help

i been thru all this problem. most all the time that you get an iui yes you ovulate in top of the iui you should try to have intercourse just to make sure well that is what i did. let me tell you it did work because i came out pregnant but i miscarriage the second day. good luck
