My RE office showed my dh where to do it and how to mix the meds. She also put a Sharpie mark on my booty so he would know where to put the needle.
There are places on line that show exactly where and how to do it. I do not know which sites, but I remember finding some.
No side effects for me.
Thank you ladies for your nice responses!!!!
I will be taking Ovedril too and hope it will work! Did it work for anyone??
Also, could you please explain to me the process of how to do it?
Any side effects after it?
THANKS!
It's so painless...you can barely feel the needle. One i used in my thigh and once in my belly. I used Ovidrel too. The needle is very tiny as is the gauge of the needle. Piece of cake!!
the trigger shot i use is ovidrel. its very painless and the needle is less than an inch long. i always give the shot in my abdomen. good luck!
Anya, Do not worry at all. The needle is very small, it doesn't even go into the muscle, just basically into a layer of skin and maybe fatty tissue. You will not feel a thing. It is quick, just a few seconds and painless. I was very nervous and did my first trigger last month and once the needle went in, I was like "Oh, is it in? I don't feel a thing. (looking more closely) Yep it's in". Then I just sighed and said to myself, "Well that was easy.". It'll be fine. I did it myself. I'm sure dh will do just fine.
I'm starting daily injectables tonight hoping I produce more eggs this cycle. So, if ladies like myself can give themselves a daily shot, then this little trigger shouldn't phase you a bit.
Good luck.
