IUI and Clomid (May 2010)

Anyone tyring Clomid and IUI this month? I'm looking for TTC buddies (trying for January 2011 babies)

I'm doing IUI tomorrow morning. I have been on Clomid 100mg days 5-9 . Had my follie check yesterday and had 3 mature follies on right side. Triggered last night at 8:30pm. Hoping for just one to take. This is has been a journey of trying since 2006!

Hey, I'm not doing an IUI but I'm on my 5th round of clomid 100mg and metformin 500mg. I just finished the clomid this weekend, waiting to ovulate. DH and I have been ttc for a little over 3 yrs, I was dx with PCOS. Hoping this cycle works! :0) Good luck if you need a buddie I'll be here!

I'll be trying clomid and iui in May.

Tried Clomid and doing it naturally this month.... don't think it worked, but i'd like to be surprised in two weeks.

If I'm not Pregnant (don't think so). I'll be doing clomid on day 2 - 7 (that will be starting about 12th may) and then IUI depending on the u/s check.

Yeah we all need luck this month!!!! I get tons of hope from other ladies on this site...I feel it's just a matter of time for us. I'm scheduled for an U/S next Tuesday and IUI next Friday (May 7). I'm on my 3rd day of Clomid and so far no side effects except tons of energy and hard time falling asleep at night.

wow thank heavens I found this thread!
I had an iui with Clomid 50mg last month currently 23 dpiui and no AF and BFN - blood test - i was very upset on Wed when I had the test but it would only make my next try even harder - so I'm positive that the next iui will work and make my dreams come to!

Sorry - off on a tangent! lol! yes, i believe the FS will bring on a cycle and we'll try for IUI in May as well!

Hi! im on 100mg clomid fifth round and fourth round of ovidrel hcg trigger this will b my third iui im hoping for the best result which we all get our bfp. iui is a 20 to 30% chance so its just a little better than bding alone. if u ovulate fine u should b good and if all follies mature then u have a very good chance for pg iui isnt that much greater.  Good luck!

Thanks Mrstallen! I usually O on CD 14-15. I used OPK this morning and it was High. Called my RE and had me go for an ultrasound this morning. I have 3 good follies on Right side (19, 18, 16) and a small one (10) on Left. I am scheduled for an IUI tomorrow morning. Good luck to all of you ladies.

Hi! u sound like everything is good to go but unfortunately my RE cancelled my cycle bcause my estrogen dropped from 302 to 186 and follies an 11 and i dnt know why. im so disapointed but know they want to up clomid to 150 bcause poor response. i hope next cycle will b successful. any answers will b greatly appreciated thank you

I wil be doing my 1st IUI this month.  Today will be day 3 on Clomid.
Anyone have any advice for me.

Good luck to all. I have been trying sense 2006 and no luck yet!!! I am doing a IUI this week and I hope for the best!! I know that it is really hard to find out that all the hard work failed. I know that God will grant us all a baby when the time comes, just keep your faith!! Never give up!!

Hi,  I am on my 3rd day of clomid and estrogen and no side effects so far.  

1st Ultrasound and see Dr. Tomorrow.  I'll then have another ultrasound on day 13 (next Wed) and if all is fine they'll do trigger then and after that IUI on Thursday evening or Friday morning, I guess.

I had my handbag stollen on Saturday.  What a blow!  So stressed over that!  I'd love some good news on this cycle later though....

My first IUI worked but I miscarried (very early pregnancy). I just scheduled the 2nd IUI for next week-end. Good luck to all of you ladies.

Hello Ladies,

I just finished my 6th round of Clomid, currently 100's. I see the OBGYN this Friday afternoon to do another folicle scan, get the HCG injection and prep for IUI on Saturday morning. This is my 2nd round of IUI, I wish I would have found out about it sooner, I would have done IUI for the entire duration instead of just clomid & HCG alone. I believe this is our last chance at becoming pregnant without IVF, which makes me pretty sad. My husband has 2 children from previous relationships, I have none, we have been trying to conceive, unscussfully, for a few years. I ovulate every month and produce at least 4 mature folicles each cycle, I have one blocked tube, which I am almost positive is the reason I am still not preggo, despite what I have read about only needing one tube to conceive. Anyway, IUI is a very mild procedure, it is quick and painless, nothing to be worried about. I wish you all much luck!!! besos!!
