IUI and Endometriosis

IUI and Endometriosis

I am 32 and my partner 33. I have been TTC for last 2.5 years. On scan, there has been endometrioma on left ovary. I have started with IUI and on day 11, only one follicle about 11mm with poor response from left ovary.
Shall we go to IVF if this cycle doesn't work and waht would be sucess rate for IVF.
Both of us have got no medical illness

Hi i also have endo and have been trying for about the same amount of  time. I so far have been through 1 iui and ivf, we took a 6 month break and have registered with a new re. I'm doing another iui with puregon . My new r.e convinced us to try at least one more iui, because he said it's way less expensive and less stressful, also he did say people often think ivf is the answer to all, when all it is, is a tool. I'm on cd14 so will get af cd 24 and start meds cd3.  It's really up to you whether or not you jump right to ivf. I'm giving iui one more chance. Not sure what sucess rate is but know it is lower, because of implantation problems. Good luck! May o ask what meds you are on?

I have endometriosis, does this affect my fertility and can it affect success with IVF?

Endometriosis is a condition where cells that usually remain confined to the cavity of the uterus, grow outside of the uterus usually on or in the ovaries and also on the surface of the pelvic cavity between the uterus and the rectum. Endometriosis can cause pelvic pain and may also decrease the chances of natural conception by about one-third. Patients who require IVF who have endometriosis still have the same chances of a successful outcome as patients of the same age without endometriosis as long as immunological factors that may accompany endometriosis are identified and treated appropriately.

I don't understand, why wouldn't you have a laparoscopy to remove the endo???  That's what my RE did for me...  From what he told me that it can dramatically throw off your hormones and that alone can cause infertility unless treated.

Just wanted to check with others.I had IUI on 31st januray, didn't experience much cramping . Yesterday, I had severe cramping in bladder region , I still have got pain and tenderness. Just worried, would that mean that the cycle has been unsucessful.
