IUI with injectibles?
I haven't done injectibles at all for my last 5 IUI's but if number 6 doesn't work I'll be moving to them.
I was just wondering what is all involved with them? Like how many do you take and when? I just wanted to be prepared. thanks.

I did Follistim this cycle and took 9 shots, days 3-12, and then one more trigger shot of HCG for ovulation.
The Follistim shots can be taken in the tummy, rump, or thigh. I just alternated thighs, and the needles were so tiny I didn't even feel it go in. The Follistim burned a little going in, but not bad at all. The HCG shot I did in the rump and I also didn't feel the needle or anything.
The worst part about injectibles to me was the price!! But I shouldn't complain! My first cycle and I'm BFP!

This cycle i did repronex and gave myself one injection per day from day 3-12. its not so bad!
My trigger is Novarel.
It's less shots than I thought it would be. I have two u/s. #1 done on either day 2,3,4, and #2 done one week later.

that's a lot of shots..I'm not a fan of shots but I guess I'll have to live with it. How many u/s do you have then? I think my nurse said two? when are these done?
Is the trigger shot of Ovidrel?? I do that one too, but it is in the stomach. Even the instructions read stomach. Just wondering if ur trigger is something other than Ovidrel
I take them day 3,4, 6, 8, and then trigger on day 19. the first series of shots i give myself, and it is in the stomach. it sounds much worse then it is. very easy. the trigger shot is in the butt, and the nurse does that one for me (can't reach, and that needle is long!)
what days in the cycle do you take the shots? Where do you have to take them? arm or butt or what? haha..I'm not really sure. My RE didn't really give me an info on them until I have to go that route.
I take four shots to stimulate the follicles, two days in a row, skip a day, shot, skip a day, then another shot to rigger ovulation. I also take Clomid.
