IUI?IVF for endometriosis?

Hi I just found out that i have endo stage 3, my husband and i have been tcc for 4 6 years.  I am now on the lupron shot.  I am to call my dr in august with a pos or neg preg test.  However what are the chances of us conceiving on our own?  I can only afford to do IUI and not IVF.  My insursance is very good but doesnt cover IUI/IVF.  I found a few posts on here and everyone seems to be getting pregnant with IVF.  Im scared that it will never happen for me.  Does anyone have any success stories with endometriosis?  Before i had my lap, i was cleared on everything else, tubes clears, ovulate fine, sperm good.  i just hope that things will start working out for me, im starting to beleive that it wont.  Please help!  Thanks Jill

I was diagnosed with mild endo (stage 1) almost 2 years ago. I had it reomved and truied naturally for 3 months and then tried 2 IUI's with no result. By then the symptoms of endo had returned and my doc advised us that IVF was the best option. With mild endo a secretion makes the egg no good when it is released but I am not sure how stage 3 is different. I know there is more obstruction but not sure if there is the secretion aswell? If there is I don't think IUI would be very good. If I were you I would do IVF as it has the best results. A friend of mine had stage 4 endo and she got pregnant on 1st go of IVF. I would probably try and find a endo specialist in your area and talk to him first about what is the best option. Why waste money on IUI when you can put that towards IVF.
