I need to know please how many of you have done IUI's and how many cycles did you go through until you had success. I've done 3...first, chemical, second, loss at 20 weeks due to cord wrapped around baby (otherwise perfectly healthy)...last IUI BFN. I'm just wondering if my chances are better/worse now this next time I try.
THANKS!
I am so sorry for your loses, but never give up...don't take it as it getting worse...as you have gotten pregnant in doing it... hopefully on your next cycle will be a succesful one..
I have done 5 IUIs and never got pregnant with them, so we switched to ivf... im just lucky that my insurance covers it because if it doesn't, there's no way we can afford it..
I did IUI with clomid and it didn't work the first time, but did the second time. I had twins, but one didn't develop. The other did and now I have a 3.5 year old healthy baby boy.
I am currently doing the same protocol, and am at the end of my second round (actually I'm on day 28 of my cycle) but I'm pretty sure it didn't work. I can feel AF coming and I had a negative test yesterday. I'm absolutely convinced if I don't have a positive test the day before AF is due, I'm not pregnant! I showed up positive about 5 days before AF on the last pregnancy.
Most doctors won't go beyond 3 cycles with clomid and IUI, but it looks like you still have some more chances! I wouldn't worry too much yet. Because you've concieved twice with this procedure, your chances are very good to concieve (conceive) again your next round.
