I am scheduled for a blood test this Saturday to see if my IVF worked. The transfer took place last Monday so today I am day 11 post transfer - you think it is too soon to do a home pregnancy test?
Hi. I was told to not do home test because the meds could give a false result, but I tested anyway the morning of my blood test and it came out negative and the blood test also was negative. Good luck to u.
Just to let you know, I just did a FET. I did IVF a little over 4 years ago and my son's 4th birthday is tomorrow. They did my blood test 11 days post transfer. I tested a million times before the blood test and although I felt pregnant, the HPT's came back negative. My blood test was positive and the next morning I had one HPT left and took it. NEGATIVE! So you may still be pregnant. From when the nurse told me my due date and how far along I was versus the ultrasound I had this past wednesday where the doctor measured the baby, my date changed from Oct 25th to Oct 28th and from 6 weeks 3 days to he said 6 week 1 day....that tells me that implantation took longer than expected. Moral of the story, is that it really isn't over until it's over, because you may get a positive but the hormone level may not be high enough to read yet. So best of luck to you and keep us posted!
Thank you so much for sharing your story
