IVF Transfer August 2011?

I had an IVF 3 day embryo transfer yesterday (August 15, 2011).  Looking to connect with those also having/had a transfer this month!

So excited and with a very positive mind... i'm new to this site..Today had my 3 embryos Transfer on a 5 day this is my second cycle. wish me luck and good look to all.

On my 1st cycle only had 1 embryo transfer and it was BFN...

So sorry to hear Wazwaz, mine was negative too, called my clinic today because I want to do another fresh cycle (I didn't have any frozen embryos) and they told me to call them on my next AF which will be in 3 weeks time. Again I'm very sorry to hear and a BIG HUG for you. God bless:-)

My beta was negative. That was our last embryo so, it's the end for me.

Hi Wazwaz, well when I called them they told me that some people spot/bleed during early pregnancy. However, because this is my second ivf cycle and my first was a success, I knew that It wasn't right that I spotted because I didn't spot with my son nor bleed. And fair enough, took my 1st hpt and it was a negative, took the 2nd one today and again it was a negative.  However, in saying that there are some women that do spot and bleed during early pregnancy and they carry full term anyway. hi just had my 3 day embryo transfer last August 25... Have been going crazy since then.  This is my second attempt my first one was last year November but it wasn't successful.  Its so hard to be all relaxed when you have to wait for 2 weeks which feels like forever.  I'm worried about everything, like this morning I had to strain while im pooping becuase im so overly constipated.  I was afraid i pooped my embryos out =(

Hi storkgirl, BEST OF LUCK TO YOU:-)  I had my 3 Day embryo transfer on the 13th of August, and must say at the moment I have NO HOPE, I started spotting yesterday and today the spotting is no longer in pink color its looking more like blood and looks like AF is on her way:-(  But I guess I'll still have to take my hpt tomorrow, ALL THE BEST TO YOU LADIES:-) May God bless you all soon:-)

Hello Wazwaz, How are you doing today? I didn't have a very comfortable sleep last night...my stomach was doing funny things, like rumbles and discomfort. I quit my job before this process, so Im at home.. I'm very curious, but not going nuts...yet! I'm  3dpt 3fet. I thought my nose was getting more sensitive, but now Im second guessing that. I really don't know if Im getting signs or not. My boobs don't feel bigger and my nipples aren't sore like the last time, but I don't remember at what point that happened, maybe it's still too early. I read that no signs might be a god sign too. Remember there's not many of us who transfer just one embie, so maybe the symptoms are earlier if you're carrying more then one. I had two transferred last time. Keep positive. XO

I know what you mean I tried heaps of names, even the craziest were taken. my first attempt was in June from a frozen cycle. I did feel like I was having some symptoms so have a bfn at beta was a huge shock! That why I'm doing a hpt this time so I'm a bit more prepared! I did my hpt yesterday 6dpt with a 5 day blast.  Bfn :( do you think you will test? How far were your embies?? I'm back at work but on light duties, it was doing my head in at home and I was becoming obsessive! Besides i had taken a lot of time off work last time so I think it's the right decision for me to go back this time around but I did spend the first four days resting at home. Are you having any signs this time? I'm having none :(

Funny that your iPad wanted to autocorrect ...this site wasn't excepting anything I entered, so I didn't actually think everynicknamehasbeentaken would work, but when it did I left it.
Our first attempt was last February. When was yours? How far along were you? Did you have pregnancy "signs" in your 2ww?
Wow, you only have four days left until your Beta....how exciting!!!!  I've basically just taken it easy around the house. I haven't gone anywhere and Im just watching tv, on my laptop, sleeping and reading The Help. When did you do your hpt? You know as well as I do it's not the best idea to home test..you must be going nuts! I didn't test myself the first time, but I might this time around.

How long ago was you first attempt? How far was your embie before they transferred? I'm 6dpt, no signs and neg hpt, but I know it's too soon to test......

How do you plan to spend your 2ww?

I'm 39yrs old. I had my transfer on August 21st. This is my second attempt. My first was a positive pregnancy (day 12) , but I started bleeding bad on day 11 and the next test on day 16 was negative.
We transferred one frozen Embryo with assisted hatching this time. I feel very "normal", but I can't get enough sleep...which is good because then I don't think about it and stress.

Ooooh that would be a dream come true for me to have twins!! But like you I would be happy with a healthy baby and just hope it happens this time. To be honest I'm not feeling very positive. Not sure if it's because you just "know" or if I'm trying to protect myself. Either way bring on the 27th I say!!

I am hoping to get one healthy baby!  As much as Id take twins over nothing at all...id really like one baby so I can give it all my love and attention!!  I put 2 back because of the cycle that failed where I only put back one!  I am praying for u over here!!  Even though you put one back>>>u never know if it will split.  U could still be proud mom of two!!!  LOL!

I don't know! They didn't say and I didn't ask because I didn't know theyweede graded! In n.z we only usually put one back because multiples are considered high risk and money etc etc
I had two frozen (because i started to develop ohss) at day 5. In June I had one transferred but I wasn't pregnant so this is my second and last attempt. I don't know about grading but he did say it had started to expand after thawing and that was good?!

I think the chance of having twins is amazing!!

It was a frozen 5 day blast.  I put back 2.  One was an AB and one was collapsed so they couldnt grade it yet!  What were yours?
