IVF Trial Medication

My RE told me about an experimental trial being done for people who are having IVF done.  It pays 4,000 dollars toward the cost of the IVF.  It is for an experimental progesterone Vaginal Gel.  If you were given this option would you take it or pass on it???

I was actually asked 3 months ago if I wanted to be in a study, which was a progerone ring.  My DH and I decided against it because we were worried that only doing the ring will cause a problem with my progesterone level..  For all of my cycles I've been taking Prometrine, oil shots, endrometrine, and estrace, so I take a lot.

If you don't have any problems with your progetrone levels than I say go for it.   Best of luck.
