Hi Ladies, I have a question. I've been reading posts and notice you talk about the grade/quality of the eggs that get transfered . what is that and what are the good numbers?
Thanks
It is not as simple as telling you what are good and bad numbers as different IVF clinics use different grading systems. It also depends on whether you are doing a 3 day embryo
( usually it is how many cells 8 is good for day 3 and fragmentation the less the better.grade 4 is the best) . or 5 day blastocyst. The blast is the last stage in embryo
. Like feather2e said, everything depends on whether you are doing a day 3 or day 5 transfer.
Also keep in mind that quality may not be the best predictor of success. My embryos
