IVF in the UK

Hi ,
      This is for the UK ladies. Does anyone know how much IVF costs? and ICSI in the UK? me and my DH arent entitled to it on IVF as we already have one daughter.

Hi hun i can tell you what i know but i  do know that different areas in the country differ in cost.I am from the angus area and ninewells in dundee are charging £4000 for IVF and £300-£500 for IUI but depends on if you need medication also so that will be extra.If you go private it will cost more.I am 41 and have to pay and my fiance also has a daughter so for some reason they take that into consideration.If you are 39 or younger i believe you qualify for a free shot on the NHS apparently.Hope that is helpful for you hun xxx

            Thanks very much for your response that is helpful. I am 37 and our GP said because we have one daughter already we would have to pay! I live in the lake district. have you had IVF treatment?
