I fell out of my chair - dude, you scred the CRA P outta me!!!! Then I read the lottery thing and knew it was a joke :) But the octuplets - can TOTALLY see that!!

How is the acupuncture going? Tell me - explain everything - I have no idea what they do.

No, dude, seriously, I'm having 8 frickin' babies. And since I won the lottery I can afford all of  them. Oh. Hold on a minute. Ow. Ow. Ow. I just gave birth to 3 of them. Awwww. They're so cute! Want one?

Acupuncture is pretty cool, actually. The needles are pretty small, even though I never saw them. He opens a fresh pack of needles every time. He puts them in like darts, just like how we do the hcg trigger. For some bizarre reason, the right side ones all hurt. Especially the ones in my lower-inner calf, my lower-inner thigh, and my head. He puts a bunch in my belly that don't really hurt and places a heat lamp over that area. He leaves them in for 30 minutes and comes in twice to check in on me and to readjust the needles. He smushes and pushes on my belly on either side each time he comes back in. He has a space heater in there and it's really nice and comfy. There's no music playing or anything, but I might decide to listen to some music on my iPhone this time if he says it's okay.

Ow. Ow. Ow. I just gave birth to 3 more of the babies. Only 2 more to go. Wow. This is a lot easier than I thought.

The acupuncture thing sounds cool - do you feel any different? What did he say about it helping? I mean, you know - when you go in and talk to them, what do they say is the positives about it? Just curious - I will try anything at this point :)

He said compared to some of his patients I am "young". He said the average success time is 4 months. He has had a ton of success helping women get pregnant. (Is it odd that all of the babies came out half-Asian?) He said it stimulates your ovaries, strengthens them, and makes you produce more eggs. He said a woman, 41 or 42, came to him crying, saying her doctor gave her a 1% chance of conceiving. She now has a little boy. And he pointed out that our doc gave me a 5-8% chance. We are still looking into fostering to adopt, too. We want to maximize all our options.
