I'm back on the baby train!

Hi Ladies!

I've been away for a while.  We took the past couple of months off after a bad cycle with Follistim.  I'm back now and I am on CD9.  I'm taking the Follistim injections again this cycle and hoping for the best.  Plans are to go back on CD12 to see if I have any mature follicles.  

From there, we are planning on an IUI.  I hope all goes well because I am soooo tired of these injections!!!  I am having lower abdominal cramps this round of Follistim.  I haven't had this before though.  Has anyone else had this type of pain?  Any positive experiences you would like to share is appreciated!  I need the encouragement ;)

How are things going for you?  I hope you are having better success with follistim this time around.

I didn't experience abdominal cramps, but did have nausea, loss of appetite (yet a great deal of weight gain), breast pain, back pain and headaches.

I used the follistem pen last cycle with an IUI and I am now 5 weeks!   Good luck!

oh, I am sorry I wish I could be of more help but I haven't gotten as far as you ladies yet.  I am on Provera and Clomid  1st cycle of those meds.  I wish you the best of luck and lots of baby dust.

Hello, I just wanted to wish you the best of luck with your cycle- I was on follistim when I did my IVF cycle and the only problems I had was, after I gave myself the injection it stung really bad, and towards the end I started to get some bruising at the injection sight.  I don't remember any abdominal cramping- sorry if this doesn't help any.  Good luck though!
