Im confused!

Im so confused..Heres what happend..I started meds for IVF found out right before trigger shot that I didnt have enough eggs to do IVF so changed to IUI..Well I started to bleed 1 day before my beta test ( I was due for period on the same day as beta test and Im always on time).. Made appointment to go see RE on day 3 to start IVF protocol again. My RE was off this week so I saw the other RE (she is nice and she has done some u/s on me before) I was bleeding really heavy so I knew that it was heavier due to the meds because the lining on my uterus was super thick..Well the RE said that its not really my period that its the lining and once the bleeding slows down my real period should start! Well that was yesterday and after I got home my bleeding has slowed down but I have no period symptoms at all! Im usually a 5 day bleeder and its day 4 today for me (and I started bleeding 1 day before AF was due).The nurse called me last night and told me to call monday morning cause my RE will be there and we can figure out what he wants to do.I told the nurse I didnt want to miss this cycle and she said that if I come in on Monday worst case senerio is I will actually be day 4 of my cycle and that was fine..I guess my question is has this happend to anyone else?? Like I said I have no period symptoms and if RE is right I should be starting my period now! They did do a preggers test on my yesterday and it was negative and i was 13 days post IUI...She said they wanted to make sure I wasnt preggers and that was why I was bleeding!! Help anyone!!!

that is the strangest thing I have ever heard helen is right the shedding is af. So technically that should be your period and you should be all set. how could they even tell the difference anyways? Good luck to you I am curious to see how this all plays out...

I know..I didnt understand her either!! Hello !! LOL..All she said to me was that my lining was to thick for it to be a normal start of my period!! WTH ?? So she said that I will shed the excess off and then start my period! makes no sense to me and I have no period symptoms now and the bleeding is what it normally is on day 4 for me! At least they did my blood work yesterday (when I though it was day 3 for me) so I shouldnt miss this cycle..I highly doubt I will get my period again before it is actually due! Im so telling my RE he cant go on vaca until Im preggers!! LOL....I guess I will have to wait till Monday to find out what my RE wants to do!

Your period is the lining!!!  During AF your body sheds the lining of your uterus.  
What that RE said makes no sense!!!!!
