I'm out :(

Well I got AF today. i am so disappointed, but this has confirmed what I expected, that I have a short luteal phase. this is only 9 DPO for me and I knew my cycles were 26 to 29 days long. And I didn't ovulate until day 18. I was still holding out hope though. This really sucks. So where do I go from here? This was my first month of charting. I guess I will chart again next month and see if I have a short luteal again.

To the girls I was in TWW with - I wish I was still with you but make sure you still keep me updated.

I'm not sure what the most popular way is to fix short luteal phases but I know I've read several different places where they are fixable and a doc could help you.  One was to take the vitamin B6, 200mg daily during the whole cycle.  I'm sure Clomid helps extend it also but I can't say for sure but it's supposed to be easily fixable somehow but your doc should be able to tell you what to do.  They won't tell you about the B6 though or about any herbs you can take.  I just got that info from other posters who were successful in increasing theirs.

I'm sorry. Yes that is definitely a short leutal phase. I'd watch next month and if is short again schedule a dr appt. Hopefully, it was a one time thing.
