Implantation bleeding? After (faint) BFP?

Ok - I am completely and utterly confused right now. I will try to make this as short and sweet as possible.

I am 13dpo/dpIUI. I have had super light positives on about a million tests over the last few days. I finally got in with my doc to get blood drawn at 4pm today but they can't run the test til tomorrow and I should hear something by 4pm or so. I have had 2 m/c in the last 3 years and been TTC for 5 years. The tests have been so faint for the last fews days so I am pretty sure I am losing this one too. But here is the weird thing: I am having brown discharge/light spotting today. I HAVE NEVER EVER had brown spotting before a period EVER! I am not even supposed to get my AF for another 2-3 days and I am never EARLY after a treatment cycle - almost always dead on time or a day late. It is all brown and only when I wipe.

I have never had implantation bleeding but that is what it is sounding liek to me, BUTTTTTTTT I already showed up on HPTs a few days ago (the night of 10dpo I think it was) - though it was faint. I thought implantation bleeding comes BEFORE a BFP? I am so confused. Like I said, I am pretty sure I will lose this baby, just like the others, but I am wondering if one of the many follies fertilized early and gave off this hcg and then others came behind it (I had a good number of eggs) buried in and is causing the IB? I am confused....any thoughts or ideas? Anyone had IB before, because I have NEVER had it! :) Thanks girls!

I hope and pray this is a positive for you and the bean sticks. In my last miscarriage, I had brown blood and ended up in a miscarriage. So, it can happen. Also, I had no implantation bleeding. Good luck. Hope u stay calm and positive through this process.

with my son I had brown spotting after my positive beta..anything can happen...good luck!

Last mo. I got a faint positive at 12dpo and I knew it wasnt good.  I started having brown spotting at 13dpo and on until 15dpo and thats when I started the the dark red, I still had a faint positive when I was bleeding the red. That was just what happend to me there are tons of ladies that have good outcomes after the spotting. As for me if I even see a tiny dab of blood I know its over.  That was my 3rd chemical pregnancy, not to mention my other 2 m/c. I hope it works out for you SSBD and tons of it.

I'm hoping and praying for you that it is just implantation bleeding or your cervix being very sensitive that you are having old blood.  As long as it doesn't get heavy and very red I have heard a lot of women here that had the same thing and carried to term a healthy baby.   As for me, I'm with cherri, as soon as I start to spot I end up bleeding and it's over with all 8 of mine so far.  

I wish I had better news to give and I hope tomorrow they give you some good numbers.  I'll keep you in my prayers that this one sticks.

I am 14 dpo today and I have exact same issue. I have been spotting. But I do get Bfp everytime. Tomorrow I have my dr appt for blood work. I talked to my nurse today. She said let's see tomorrow and also that it's common. Hope what ever she said is true. I am keeping my fingues crossed. Best of luck to both of us. Let me know how it goes.

Had 1 failed IVF, 1 failed ICSI and now I'm on day 11 after implantation with cramps and spotting, test date 17/6 :  Must tell you however, that I had one natural pregnancy after 1st failed IVF 5 yrs ago, had I dark spotting for about 5 days which was the implantation Im told.

Dont rule out pregnancy just yet.  In fact it is believed that spotting for implantation is a good sign!!

It could just be regular spotting from the pregnancy.  Many women spot lightly during pregnancy, and hopefully the brown color is a good sign.  On the other hand, no matter how regular your cycles are, you can never say 100% that you will not get a period, etc.  The human body can decide to change just like that, without any rhyme or reason.

Bleeding in pregnancy is NEVER a good sign for me. There are times it is red now so now I am just waiting on the beta results so I can get on with my life. This waiting game stinks! I told DH that I just can't keep doing this to myself. I hae been through too much and I just don't think I can do it anymore. I will update with beta results as soon as I get them. Thanks everyone.

I am PRAYING that you get good news, and that those tests darken up for you.

I would tell you to hang in there and think positive, but I know that once those wheels start turning, its nearly impossible to stop from thinking the worst.

Went for my Beta today. Pregnancy confirmed but low beta level. This afternoon started to bleed heavly. I think It was chemical pregnancy. thatz what was also said by my docs office.....
