Implantation bleeding??

Hello, I noticed the other night before I went to bed that I had some light red spotting on my toilet paper when I wiped and the next morning I had light brown on my toilet paper and wore a panty liner just to see for the day.  During the day only a few more spots showed up on the panty liner and since then it's been nothing.  This was one week before my period usually starts.  I have heard of implantation bleeding and was wondering if you guys think this could be implantation bleeding?  I am also on a birth control pill which I take pretty religiously. Any help is greatly appreciated! Thank you!

That I can recall I haven't missed a pill this month and I have been on this bc for over 3 years. Thanks for the response. I hate this waiting game.

Hi:)  It sounds like it could have been implantation bleeding.  How long have you been on the pill?  Have you changed the type of bc pill you take recently?  That can mess with your cycle.  If you take the pill religiously, every day, than the chances are slim that you are pregnant but if you miss doses of the pill it is very possible.
