Implentation Bleeding or Period.

I have a pregnancy question. My husband and I have recently started trying for a baby. I started spotting 6 days before my scheduled period which happened to be the exact day that my menstrual chart said implantation would occur if I had conceived.  The spotting was brown and light pink and it was very little. After about 3 days of that, I am now bleeding more heavily to the point where I need to wear a tampon. It seems different than a normal period, though. It is bright red in color. Was the spotting that came 6 days early just the beginning of an early period or could I have been pregnant and now miscarried? My actual period is scheduled to come tomorrow or the next day, but I’m currently still bleeding the bright red blood that I just spoke of. I’m just confused. I have not taken a pregnancy test because I was waiting to do so after my scheduled period. So, in a nut shell – I had light spotting 6 days before my schedule period that slowly turned into bright red blood. Any idea’s to what this could have been, if anything?

I would def. take a test for peace of mind. Some women have spotting early on so you wont know until you test.
Best of luck to you and Happy Holidays!

This last bit of spotting came early yesterday morning. My period was supposed to start today, but there's nothing today. Perhaps I just had a light period that came a week early; I don't have any symptoms of pregnancy, but whatever “period” I just had was definitely very different than normal. Should I take a test just to be sure? I just really hope that it wasn’t implantation bleeding that turned into a miscarriage.  We’re trying to conceive and now I’m not sure how to even track ovulation since my cycle was different this go-round.

I would definitely take a HPT to confirm.  From what I've read implantation bleeding is often pink or brown in color.  If your bleeding has increased in flow and in color, I would the chances are it is your period.  When is your period due?
