Increasing pain in side since 4dpo??

I've had this achey pain in my right side this month that started 3dpo. At first it was just a little sore, but if I shifted around it would stop. Well the pain has been getting worse every day. For those of you who notice ovulation pain it's like that sharp flash of pain you get that only lasts a second durring ovulation. Except it doesn't go away.

My period still isn't due for another 7 days so a hpt isn't showing anything. Should I be worried about the possibility of an ectopic pregnancy?? Has anyone else had this type of pain before?

Any help is appreciated! Thanks in advance.

If you did a med-free cycle, I wouldn't worry about the possiblity of a cyst then. I'm sure it's nothing, and you're still feeling the after affects of ovulation. I wouldn't worry about it! :) I read a lot about girls that have pains in their sides after ovulation, so it's normal! I'm actually having pains in my right side still, and I'm sure I ovulated from that side since my cyst is/was in my left side. I hope that darn thing is gone! :) Good luck to you, and congrats on being in the 2ww! :)

I didn't take any meds. I thought about the possibility of a cyst also. I've just never had one or at least one that was noticable before. The pain is on the same side that I ovulated on. It's so confusing.

Did you take any meds this cycle? I noticed that same thing during my last cycle! I thought it was just my progesterone, but it ended up that I had a cyst. I ovulated 2 eggs on my left side, and when af showed, I went in for an u/s and it showed a 23 mm cyst on my left side. That's the same size as a mature follicle. So, I had to take this cycle med-free, and am just waiting for the cyst to go away. We were still able to try on our own, just without meds, and i'm currently 4 dpo. Anyway, if you didn't take meds, I would assume it's just your progesterone working!
