Infertility drugs

A friend was on infertility drugs...Clomid and the like for a couple of years...unfortunately she did not concieve and decided to give her body a rest. A month after going off the infertility drugs, she started having "anxiety" attacks. She thought it was her heart and consulted a Cardiologist that gave her a "clean bill of health".
Is this a side effect of coming off the drugs or can you give another explanation. She never had "anxiety" attacks ever in her life before or while on the drugs.

I agree with KanuCmEY. I don't think the fertility meds would cause this, but all the energy that goes into trying to conceive, and not succeeding, is very draining...so it could definitely be due to the stress.

Could be just the stress in her life. Trying to have a baby and not being successful is one of the hardest things a woman can go through. I have never heard of clomid causing this.
