Has anyone used Estrace for endometrium growth?

I haven't used it myself...but it should work, since it's an estrogen supplement and estrogen is what is responsible for building the lining in the first part of your cycle :-)

Thanks! My husband and I are trying to have a child. We went to the doc yesterday and founf out my endometrium is only about 3mm when it needs to be about 7-8mm. We are hoping the Estrace will help.

i have used estrace
BUT I didn;t think you would ovulate normally on it?

but it got my lining good and thick

That is some good news! I hope it's going to work for us as well! Please let me kow if it works for you Juana824. I will start it soon and will go back to the RE in about 3 weeks to find out if it's doing any good. mysty2001 did you began estrace due to a thin edometrium?

I used Estrace because my lining started to thin before I ovulated.  I used 2 mg. 3 times a day and then they reduced it as my lining increased.  My lining got up to 6 mm and then as the follicles started to get bigger, it went down to 5 mm.  It worked for me because I am 8 1/2 weeks prego.  I used a lot of other drugs too for other reasons, but the estrace helped with my lining.

Well I sure hope it works for me! Right now I am only inserting once a day. I am only doing 1cc of PIO. OUCH!!!

The doc gave me 2mg. I use one a day for a couple of days and then I slowly increase to 3 a day. Then I go back on about the 15th or 16th day to check and see how its working. If it looks good I will have some test to check the endometrium and make sure it's healthy enough for IVF. If it's not, which scares me, I was told the only chance we have is to use a serogate. Thanks for the hopeful news 4Angie. I will keep praying!! It's the wait and see thing that is hard!
