Introducing the Community Leader Program, and a Community Leader
Hi,
We're very pleased to announce the launch of our new Community Leader program. As MedHelp has grown in both number of members and the number of communities we have, the needs of these communities has also grown. Our Pregnancy communities would like to see different features than our Ovarian
Cancer community. Out of this need, we came up with the Community Leader program.
A Community Leader will be a MedHelp member who will act like an ambassador to MedHelp, helping to communicate the feedback from the community as well as help us communicate back to the community from MedHelp. When we launch new features, like the Notes feature today, they will be able to help out with any questions. In addition to helping MedHelp, they will also be working with their community to help it grow, by welcoming new members, bringing up suggestions, etc. As always, anyone is still welcome to contact MedHelp directly. We love hearing
from our members and it's a big part of what has made the site what it is today.
One thing to note, Community Leaders, will not be replacing the MedHelp moderators currently monitoring the site, however, the Leaders will be able to help if there is an issue and work with our moderators to address it. The Leaders are not working for MedHelp, they are still members, but ones that have taken on some added responsibility.
We're extremely excited about this program, and we're pleased to announce that we already have a Community Leader for the Fertility community. Please join us in welcoming tina1111 as the first Community Leader for this community. tina1111 has been a long time member that has been helping out in Fertility since it was launched . We're excited she has agreed to be a Community Leader and we're looking forward to working with her and you, to continue improving the experience in this community.
. I know more about most of you than I do people I see every day. I am lucky to know all of you and get the daily support to continue on the ttc journey after all these yrs. I hope we will all continue to learn from and support each other as we do so well. New ideas and suggestions are always welcome. I am grateful to Medhelp for listening to our requests and providing us with a great place to be.
You ladies are the best! Now you are bringing tears to my eyes *sniffs, wipes cheek* This is so much more than a web site to me. It is home in so many ways. I don't know how I would have made it this far without all of you. I am so happy for all of the posters that finally got their bfps and now have amazingly good looking babies! I can't say that isn't the best looking baby set ever! I was with so many of you while ttc and truly couldn't have been happier if it were my own bfp. Then there are those of us still here. So many of us after tragic losses. The pain is the same for all of us and the "whys" that never get a satisfactory answer. But, we try, try again. I would not be able to keep that attitude without my cyber sisters and all the support and love that flows daily here. As always, I will do whatever I can to help.
Sue baby! You're next, I just pray it's your turn. I'll give up my turn in line if it moves you closer to the front ((hugs))
I KNEW IT! As soon as I saw the new program on another forum with Patty as the leader, I knew that it should be Tina! I am so glad to come back from vacation
