in the muscle walls of the uterus. I believe she had also a carcinoma. She was unbelievably young when first found it, only in her 20s and the doctors had never seen a case in anyone this age. In any case, she had surgery to remove the uterus, cervix and part of fallopian tube. Thankfully she has been fine and cancer free, but she of course cannot have children. She has been looking into IVF but has heard that the medicine can actually cause ovarian
cancer. As you can imagine, she does not want to take any chances.
I have been trying to do research for her as she cannot bring herself to read any more on the internet about the cancer she had since the outcome is usually so poor and only ends up distressing her further. I can't seem to find much out there.
Do you know of anyone who has had a similar cancer and who later did successful fertility treatments? Is IVF safe
