Is it too early to detect pregnancy at 12dpiui with a home prenancy test?

I know this question has been asked so many times before...but I can't seem to find the posting. Will a POAS test show a positive result on 12 dpiui or is it too early? My cycle is 29 days.

I am sorry that your test was negative. I was hoping it was positive:(  I took Menopur before when I did a few IVF cycles but have only taken Gonal F for IUI cycles.  Have you ever taken Ganirelix to prevent premature ovulation?  I did a few IVF/PGD cycles a few years ago and two cycles of IUI.  I got pregnant with the   Let me koosecond IUI.  This time around I did one IVF/PGD cycle and am now on my third cycle of IUI.  If it doeswn't work this time we will wait until after the holidays and do more IUI cycles.  Let me know how your cycle is going.

I know...I do try to be positive, but it's really, really hard as you know. I called today and my blood test is negative. My AF should be here by tomorrow or Sunday. I will start Menopur on CD3. I'm going to try three cycles and then move on to IVF. How about you?

Why do you think your test will be negative.  You should try to be positive but I know what it is like.  I am on dat9 of Gonal F injections for my third IUI cycle in a row.  Maybe you will be on Gonal too.  It is very easy to use the Gonal pen.  My IUI should be next Tues. Wed. or Thurs.  I hope your test is positive and keep me posted!

Thanks! POAS stands for "pee on a stick"...or at least that's what I think it stands for. ;) Thanks again for your help! I actually decided to do an early blood test, but I'm pretty positive it will be negative. I'm on to injectables with IUI. How about you? Are you on oral meds with IUI or injectables with IUI?

I am not sure what POAS stands for, but I took a hpt on 12dpiui and got a bfp so it is pssible, but I would definitely test first thing in the morning.  Sometimes the HCG level won't be high enough for the test to detect it, so it is always better to wait as long as you can, but it is definitely possible to get a positive result 12dp, but a negative result could be incorrect.  A positive would be a sure thing.  I hope it is positive for you!  Good luck!
