Is something wrong?

Hello,

I was 16 days past ovulation and my HCG level was 240, progesterone was 29. (I have a 25 day cycle, and tested positive on the 24th day)  I was very happy with my hormone levels on Tuesday, but today (Thursday)...my HCG went only to 428 and my progesterone dropped to 24.  Should I be worried?  I have my first OB appointment on November 20th, as that's when I will be 6 weeks.

I also have some mild pains.

Any help or advice will be greatly appreciated.  My husband and I are leaving for our honeymoon to Aruba Saturday....and I'm afraid.

I think your HCG is fine because it's close to doubling.  As far as your Progesterone, it's a hormone and I'm pretty sure that can fluctuate as any other hormone.  I'd suggest getting a third count to rest your mind.  I hope you get good news.

Okay....HCG today went to 555 (a day later), but my progesterone dropped to 13.71.  I think I have a lot to worry about now.  Has anyone ever had this problem?  Is there a chance it could go up again?  I will not get to see the dr till my first appointment, at 6 weeks when the sac would be visable.

Should I be concerned of an ectopic pregnancy?
