I am 27 years old. I became pregnant at 18 and lost our child. I got pregnant again with my son when I was 19 and had him when I was 20. My husband and I started trying again shortly after he was born. Due to my lack of ovulation, it was very difficult. Much to our suprise 5 years later, I became pregnant. Unfortunatly, it was an etopic pregnancy, found at 9 1/2 weeks. We were unable to treat it with medication and required major surgery. We have tried on and off for the last 2 years. My OB/GYN has started me on 100mg of Clomid (due to lack of ovulation...I haven't had a period in over a year) I took 100mg days 5-9. We were suppose to have scheduled sex
on 50mg of clomid. It seems to earlly to be implantation bleeding. clomid made me O about 3 days earler thatn I had been. good luck and super sticky baby dust
lining is going to be very thick. That might attribute to the spotting? Just a thought.
Also if you didn't induce an AF before starting the clomid your uterine lining would be too thick to support healthy implation. Best of luck to you.
Your RE should also give you an ultrasound each cylce prior to starting the clomid to confirm that you don't have any follicles left over from the previous cycle. If you did have one of these follicles, the clomid can act like a trigger and cause you to ovulate early (around cd 6 or 7). But if this was the case your spotting would not come until cd 20 or 21.
