Issues with Birth Control

Okay so my husband and I decided to start trying for our second child however, I did not know that it is best to finish your current month of birth control before stopping it. So, I stopped my pack mid month and 2 days later recieved my "Withdrawl (withdrawal) bleeding" I was taking Ortho Lo. However I am confused as far as fertility goes, Can I get pregnant during my withdrawl (withdrawal) bleeding? Am I fertile now or do I have to wait? and Do I use the first day of my last period or the first day of my withdrawl (withdrawal) bleeding to begin my ovulation schedule? I don't know when I shoud get excited and buy tests?

Since you stopped, you stopped, wouldn't worry about it. could have gotten pregnant midcycle. (that seems what happens to my teenage pts that come to my office.) Unlikely to get pg on withdrawl (withdrawal) bleed, but count it as day one of your cycle.  If no bleeding for 28 days after first day of withdrawl (withdrawal) bleeding, start POAS for pg testing then.   Won't know when fertility will return. I would recommend just having fun the first month then after bleeding again and starting new cycle Basal body temps and ovulation sticks to see if you are ovulating.
