It's confirmed....BFP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm still in shock!!!!!!  The RE called and said my hcg level was 116!!!!  I don't even know if that number is good, I just know that she said that I was definitely pregnant!!!

That seems like a really great number... aren't you around 13-14 DPIUI (I think I remember seeing that in another post)?  At 14 DPIUI, I was only 45, so 116 sounds spectacular!

The nurse said that anything over 20 is great so I think everyone's numbers are good!!!  I was just so happy hearing that I was pregnant and I think I only heard every other word she was saying.

No this wasn't my first IUI...it was my fourth!!  So don't give up!  I did Follisitm injectables with all IUIs.

1st IUI took 75 units of follisitim a day (got OHSS with it too)
2nd IUI took 50 units of follistim a day
3rd IUI took 75 units of follistim a day
4th IUI took 125 units of follistim a day (BFP! but I also have OHSS)

Sometimes it just takes longer than we expect. Good luck on your next cycle!

Congratulations! I also got the great news yesterday after sweating it out over the weekend. 10/30 8dpt level was only a 3 two days later 10/31 went up to 26; however, my clinic was not happy with the first days numbers and thought it was a possible chemical pregnancy. I was taking to my little bean all weekend to hang in there! I retested Saturday and had to wait until Monday and 12dpt was 79! I was confirmed Pregnant! Want2BeMama your numbers are over 20 and that is great! It does not matter what you start with just as long as they double in 48-72 hours.

Okay - when did you get your HCG level done?  I had mine drawn on Monday and just got the number today and it was 429!!!  The nurse said that means I'm anywhere from 4-5 weeks pregnant!  agh!

That's great!  I had mine done on Monday as well...they said that I was 3 weeks and 3 days pregnant as of Monday.  So I guess this Friday will make me exactly 4 weeks.  Did they give you a due date by chance??

No  - no news other than I should have gone in today to have a 48 hr comparison done...  No one told me that so I'll go in tomorrow morning before work to have that drawn and hopefully I'll hear tomorrow.  The time lapse will be over 48 hrs so the numbers should be pretty high...  The nurse said that after the results tomorrow they'll schedule my first OB appt - which I'd imagine won't be for some period of time...  Don't know - this part is all new to me!  I've been looking on-line at different due date calculators and it seems like mid-July (I hope and pray!).  What about you?  When is your first OB appt?

Well they gave me a due date of July 13th but when I enter my last period into a due date calculator, it says a week later (like July 18th)....either way is great!  My fertility clinic won't release me to a OB anytime soon.  They keep me and monitor me every week for 10 weeks.  So I won't be making my OB appointment for a while.

hey hey YAY!! on tuesday my numbers went up from 27 to 172!!! im excatly 4weeks6days preg. as of today i go back for more blood work on sat. and im hoping they will jump to 600 once i get to the 1000 i can get an u/s im sooo excited!! yesterday i got a scare i was spotting but is was due to intercourse and the nurse told me no sex for me  rite now!!  eberyones number look good...i want mine number to pass the 200's...keep yuor fingers crossed 4 me!!

Did you ever get the news from your fertility clinic as to when you can have sex? Mine is wanting us to wait 2nd tri. What is up with that? Ladies, what are  your thoughts and what has your Dr. instructed with regards to this. My poor DH!

I haven't asked them about sex.  Since I've got enlarged ovaries and cysts, they told me weeks ago not to have sex...so my situation is a little different.

My HCG levels this morning were over 1200- so they've about trippled.  The nurse kept laughing saying how great the numbers were and that I'm about 5 weeks - no due date or anything...  I am supposed to call and schedule an ultrasound for the week of Thanksgiving but totally spaced on that today! oops!  We had sex last night and there was no spotting - all is well with me - unreal!

Wow... you jumped from 27 to 172!?!  How many days was that in between the 27 and the 172?  So you're actually farther along than me then... I'm only in 3 weeks and 1 days (IUI on 10/17).

Yeah...from 27 to 172 in 4 days! im 5weeks today! i think i wont find out for sure till i get an u/s my nurse told me ill have an u/s when my HCG levels reach to 1000...i go back tomorrow sat. for more blood work and im figuring it should be in thr 600's so next time it should get to the 1000 so i might get an u/s before or rite after thanxgivin...i still dont believe im preg. i dont know why...it hasent really registered..maybe once my RE releases me and i get to see a regular OB like every normal person lol ill be excited! ahhaa how about you? how are you doing?

I had to go to the Dr. today for an "emergency" visit.  Nothing too bad, thankfully.  I was having some cramping and my urine output was practically nothing and my stomach was VERY distended.  My RE said that I still have OHSS and my ovary is still very large.  In fact, it is so large that they couldn't even find my uterus on the u/s!  Apparently, my gigantic ovary has pushed my uterus to the side.  No worries though...they said that my OHSS shouldn't affect the pregnancy at all.  Oh! Also, my beta was 794 (17 dpIUI).  Looks like I have to continue resting and eating lots of protein...gotta get that OHSS to go away!

Congrats on your numbers!!!  I called today to schedule an ultra sound for the 20th - but nothing before then. No more tests. It's hard to believe this is really happening!
