was in 2006 - I was on my 3rd month of pregnancy and had my monthly ultrasound check. Come to find out their was no heart beat, instead I had a molar pregnancy, and had a D&C done right away. 2nd miscarriage
was in 2007 - I was going on my 4th month, heard the baby's heart beat. A week later, something was not right so my doctor recommended that I come in immediately. Had an ultrasound and no heart beat. Again, had a D&C done. 3rd miscarriage
. The 5th miscarriage and 6th only lasted 2wks. And last but not least, 7th miscarriage was in 2009 which was complicated. I was getting the symptoms: breast larging, hormone elevating, nausea, and always hot. I took 2 pregnancy test and all of them were negative. I missed my period wk. by 2 wks. Had another miscarriage again. I've seen 4 doctors, out of all of them only 1 doctor was very help full. I know longer see the doctor I liked because we moved to Montana. My fav. dr. is in California and he confirmed that my estrogen was soooooo low! Took all the estrogen medicine possible to close my uterus and they all did not work. My hormones came back normal but the estrogen. I have never taken an HSG or what you all have mentioned on your question. I've made my decision to meet with a Dr. that specialized in Womans Health. She will be taking my blood work and get to the bottom of my hormones. Is it worth it to go and see this doctor? I'm so frustrated and want to call it quits with trying to have a baby.
In my opinion, you need to see a reproductive endocrinologist. Have you had any full-term pregnancies? With this many miscarriages, there's something going on & you need an expert who deals w/fertility issues such as repeated miscarriages to run some tests to see why this keeps happening. I don't know if your favorite dr in California is a re - if he is and since you like him, I would think it worth it to travel to see him/her.
I have too had many miscarriages and my RE did a blood test from my husband and I and our chromosones don't work together. My body sees a baby as a foreign object and rejects it. However, they said that their is a way around it. You take Heparin and baby asprin. hope that helps. Maybe recommend such a test
