LH SURGE

On cd13 had a positive ovulation test the test line was the same color as the control line but on cd14 the test line was darker than the control line, the instructions say its positive when its the same or darker, so would cd14 be the lh surge since its darker or cd13 since it was the first positive?

you can test pos. for a surge for more than one day.  it means that anywhere between 12-36hrs you should O sometime.  get to BD'ing.

I would say cd13 is the surge, however you were still surging on cd14.  The inital rise in LH means you were preparing to ovulate, but even closer to ovulating on cd14.

A positive is the first day the lines are the same.  If you BD'd on cd13 and 14 that's good, cd 15 was probably good too since its the day you likely ovulated.  After a positive, you could ovulate as late as 48 hours after.

i agree with rene.  the first day was your acutal start of your surge.  as long as you BD during those days you have a great chance of getting pregnant.

at the time of ovulation we only were able to BD on cd11 and cd13 so i hope we still have a good chance, i know sperm can live 3-5 days but still the more the better. thank you guys for your advice.

that should be ok though.  when is your period due.  i got a positive pregnancy test 9 days after O.

i dont really know when my period is due i have like a 31-40 day cycle but ovulate like i have a 28 day cycle no matter what, it took me a while to get pg the first time  because of that i just thought i ovulated later but now i know, it always takes a few times of getting pg before they stick, i just had a miscarrage (miscarriage) in april, were trying for #3 the last one(hope its a girl) i dont know why its always so hard, i get obsessed with it. anyway i'll take a pg test in 2weeks.
