Laparoscopic

Has any one had laparoscopic surgery done t remove endometriosis? I am having it for the fourth time Friday and I wanted go know I there was anything I should do differently afterward to help with getting pregnant I do not know if I have endo again the RE is going into see and do an endometrium biopsy also

I had my last Lap in March.  My RE put me on 5 months on Lurpon injections to allow my body to heal and the endo implants invisible to the eye time to shrink.  I start my BCP at the end of August to restart my cycle and IVF cycle should begin in September

I was dx with stage 4 endo in Nov 08, they went in via lap and it was so bad they couldnt do anything without doing more damage. I went on lupron for 6 months we did 2 "super doses", as the nurse put it which was a 3 month dose 2x. I went back to the Dr in June 09, My endo had grown so we went back in July 09 another lap with reproductive endo this time. OB and endo were aggressive and felt, they did as much as they could, but 1 tube blocked. Did my healing and got ok to concieve (conceive) since they"cleaned me up", we started trying Sept 09, by January I knew something wasnt right I was in so much pain still, Went to see NP she shrugged it off as me just being a mess. By March I wanted to chew my own arm off every month, Im in pain 3 out of 4 wks of themonth. Scheduled an appt with the OB had vaginal u/s 1st and she says OMG you have a 8.5 cyst on your left and a almost 6 on your right no wonder your in pain all the time. Another surgery sched for April 2010, this time laparatomy, OB and reprod again agressive but both tubes blocked and not much going to happen on the left side, at 27 I was told sorry you most likely wont concieve (conceive) naturally, your endo is very very agressive. So I was told our only hope was IVF.
With all this being said, your dr should be able to give you some input after your proc as to your chances. I wish you the best of luck, and have you in the prayers. I know how hard this is.

i've had a lap for endo. afterwards they will normally put you on estrogen surpression for a while afterwards
